Candidates who have already earned a four-year pre-professional Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies degree, or its equivalent, may be able to complete the program in a little as 15 months of study (see below). For these students, the graduate program consists of 42 total credit hours, completed over the course of four continuous, intensive study semesters. Students from other majors are required to complete additional coursework (see the 27- and 39-month curriculum guides), or variation, depending on an evaluation of their previous coursework. The accelerated timeframe and rigorously focused aspects of the program are designed in effective and integrated sequences to fully prepare the graduate for critical practice and a professional career in architecture, while resulting in savings of thousands of dollars in tuition, rent, and other living expenses. Depending on a student’s individual path, many are able to complete professional work experience, while obtaining their Masters degree in conjunction, thus adding additional interactive depth and real-world dialog to the education experience.
