Students who have been admitted separately to the School of Law and to the Master of Accountancy program may apply for permission to study concurrently for both the Juris Doctor and the Master of Accountancy degrees. Permission must be obtained from both the School of Law and the School of Accountancy, ordinarily prior to entry into the second year curriculum of the School of Law.
Completion of the concurrent programs requires successful completion of 90 semester hours of law courses and 30 semester hours of courses that meet Master of Accountancy requirements. However, in consultation with the Director of the Master of Accountancy Program, students may use up to nine of the 90 law school hours as part of the 30 hours required for the Master of Accountancy program. (In other words, up to nine hours may be shared between the two programs, thereby shortening the time to degree completion.) Students may select no more than 6 hours of coursework at the 400-level.

English Language Requirement: 550 on the paper based TOEFL; 80 on the internet based TOEFL; 6.5 on the IELTS; 5.0 on the iTep Academic Plus Exam; C1 required on the Cambridge English Exam.
