A specialization in Landscape Horticulture arms students with advanced technical and business skills - including proficiency in landscape design, plant selection, planting and maintenance - needed for a successful career in the green industry.
What will I study?
Our hands-on, educational courses provide students with scientific and practical knowledge in plants, soil and landscape horticulture. Courses cover annuals, perennials, garden center, nursery and greenhouse management, landscape construction and design, woody plant identification and maintenance.
Internships are encouraged to broaden learning experiences and are available through our partnerships with various companies and government agencies.

為來自中國的學生設(shè)計 Students must have completed a high school or equivalent. Academic Requirements (grade point averages are on a 4.0 scale and are calculated by SIU): 26 credits or more at another college/university - submit college/university transcripts showing a GPA of 2.0 or greater on all coursework; 0-25 credits at another college/university - submit high school AND university/college transcripts showing 2.0 GPA on all coursework; 5 Passes on the GCE O or A level exams (under the Cambridge/ed excel model). English Language Requirement: TOEFL - 68 on the internet-based test; TOEFL - 520 on the paper-based test; ITEP - 4.0 (academic plus only); IELTS - 6.0.
