A specialization in Pre-Veterinary Medicine & Science prepares students to face the challenges of advanced degree study in veterinary school and post-graduate research.
What will I study?
Courses include the application of physical and chemical sciences to the raising and production of beef cattle, horses, dairy cattle, swine and companion animals.
Other advanced classes in beef cattle management, swine management, dairy cattle management and equine science help students assimilate the knowledge and skills learned in previous courses and apply it to real-life situations.

為來自中國的學生設計 Students must have completed a high school or equivalent. Academic Requirements (grade point averages are on a 4.0 scale and are calculated by SIU): 26 credits or more at another college/university - submit college/university transcripts showing a GPA of 2.0 or greater on all coursework; 0-25 credits at another college/university - submit high school AND university/college transcripts showing 2.0 GPA on all coursework; 5 Passes on the GCE O or A level exams (under the Cambridge/ed excel model). English Language Requirement: TOEFL - 68 on the internet-based test; TOEFL - 520 on the paper-based test; ITEP - 4.0 (academic plus only); IELTS - 6.0.
