The focus of this specialization is on the application of sound management and leadership principles to the effective operation of health care facilities and health service organizations.
We provide you with knowledge of the general principals of individual, group and organizational effectiveness and how to apply these principals to the unique societal, structural, legal and political challenges of the health care field.
The Management of Health-Care Enterprises specialization prepares you for a variety of positions in health care organizations or businesses or in companies that do business with health care organizations. These posts include office manager, assistant administrator and project coordinator.

Academic Requirements (grade point averages are on a 4.0 scale and are calculated by SIU): 26 credits or more at another college/university - submit college/university transcripts showing a GPA of 2.0 or greater on all coursework; 0-25 credits at another college/university - submit high school AND university/college transcripts showing 2.0 GPA on all coursework; 5 Passes on the GCE O or A level exams (under the Cambridge/ed excel model). English Language Requirement: TOEFL - 68 on the internet-based test; TOEFL - 520 on the paper-based test; ITEP - 4.0 (academic plus only); IELTS - 6.0.
