專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ This course is aimed at those who wish to pursue a career within the health or care sector, working with children, young people, adults and the elderly. The aim is to develop your knowledge within health and social care, to respond to the rapidly changing agendas and policies within the sector. You will develop skills in workplace management and health and social policies as well researching modern social issues. This programme has a recognised management qualification embedded from the Charted Management Institute (CMI). You will be required to complete a minimum of 60 hours work placement within the field of health and social care. This degree will provide you with the knowledge and skills that will appeal to employers such as the NHS, local authority adult’s and children’s services and the voluntary and private social and healthcare sector. Career opportunities include working with young people, residential care work, youth offending and management positions within health and social care. Many of our graduate’s progress onto Masters programmes in Social Work or Teaching.
