Course Overview
This MSc focuses around interactive workshops, mostly taking place within computer labs and supported by rich online support material. The programme provides a solid foundation in theoretical understanding while focusing on the vocational aspects of your experience, making the content relevant to today’s business needs.
The programme will help you to further develop your knowledge and skills within the cutting-edge areas of Computer Science. You will have the opportunity to obtain specialist knowledge in the design, analysis, implementation, and developing computational solutions to real-world problems.
We will specifically introduce you to the new and developing fields of AI, Natural Computing, Computational Science, Data Science, Data Intensive Computing, Modern Database Systems (Big Data), Machine and Deep Learning. Our approach to teaching is practical and we place an emphasis upon coursework related activities supported by a variety of innovative assessments to reinforce learning.
On completion of the course you will be equipped with the key skills and knowledge needed to work in computing and information systems utilising both your first degree and Master’s degree skills.
