This degree will be the start of your Primary School teaching career as an Early Years specialist, which could lead to you heading departments, year groups or even senior management and head teaching. This three-year degree route prepares you for becoming an early years teacher (in school and nursery settings). The routes provide quality training to teach in the 3-7 age range. On successful completion of the course your details will be passed to the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) who will award you Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Our courses offer four integrated elements of teacher education – school experience, professional studies, subject specialism study and core/wider curriculum study. Studying Primary Education with us will give you the skills and experience you need to make you a professional, confident and competent teacher.
