在這里學(xué)什么？
The integrated foundation course is an intensive first year of study designed to make our STEM degrees more accessible. Many of our students lack confidence in mathematics and physics or don't fit the stereotypical profile of an engineering graduate. The programme allows transition to Product Design Programmes. The broad and varied course is delivered through small, interactive seminars and tutorials as well as practical lab and builds experiences (approximately 12 contact hours per week) which develop research, communication, team work and problem-solving skills.
Engineering graduates are prized by a wide range of companies and employers. As a numerate and scientifically trained thinker, you'll have skills that are immediately transferable to a diverse range of sectors. Our inclusion of specific business and enterprise units will provide you with a rounder set of skills than your engineering science knowledge alone, providing you with the know-how to set up your own business, if you so wish, and enabling you to stand-out in the competitive jobs market. With an engineering degree you'll have a huge choice of routes for employment, whether or not you choose to following a career in engineering after you graduate.
