專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ With an emphasis on community and society this three years honours programme is designed to develop employability skills as well as a knowledge and understanding of education in its widest terms. It will provide a firm foundation for those who may be thinking about a career in teaching at any level, as well as those who may wish to work in the community or with organisations which have an educational component to their work. It is designed to maximise career opportunities in; museums, art galleries, church and faith organisations, prisons, hospitals, charities or international development. This degree will enable students to keep their options open regarding future employment, study and professional development. Lectures will underpin key concepts and inform critical thinking and seminars and tutorials will enable students to consider, formulate and sustain arguments. A mix of innovative and traditional methods will be used to assess learning.
