在這里學(xué)什么？ This course is built on Chichester’s reputation for high quality education and training in technique, performance, and choreography. Drawing on the expertise of a highly professional teaching team and a range of visiting dance artists and choreographers, this course prepares you for a career as a professional dance artist. You will develop both your technical and expressive skills through regular performance opportunities in the Dance Studio Theatre as well as outside venues. There is also the opportunity to undertake a work placement as well as develop your communication skills through the teaching of repertory and technical dance material.Key features of this course include:- 8 technique classes a week across a range of genres (contemporary dance, ballet, dance fitness, somatic techniques and contact improvisation); - regular performance project modules throughout the course;- all student choreography taken to production with public performances every semester;- touring with, Chichester’s 3rd year performance company 3Fall Dance Company;- Industry placement opportunities;- the opportunity in second year to study abroad;- regular performances from visiting dance and theatre companies in the University’s Showroom.Professional company links include: L?la Dance, Flexer & Sandiland, Ceyda Tanc Dance Company, Tribe Company, AKA Dance Theatre Company and Mapdance. Professional Associations and Organisations include: GradLab, and The PointOverseas partner institutions: York University in Toronto, Canada; Escola Superior de Dan?a, Lisbon Portugal; University College of Dance in Stockholm, Sweden; Theatre Academy of Finland in Helsinki; State University of New York in Buffalo.
