在這里學(xué)什么? **Overview**Studied as a joint honours degree, you will explore English Literature in some of the immensely varied contexts of its production, alongside the practical business of how to research and communicate what is happening in the world, now. English Literature at Worcester will introduce you to cutting-edge thinking in spheres as diverse as Shakespeare in translation, children’s literature, contemporary American writing and ecocriticism. Journalism at Worcester will equip you to work in today’s multi-platform media environment and enable you to apply for both journalism and communications roles once you have graduated.**Key features**- Study diverse literature emanating from the sixteenth through to the twenty-first centuries – and encompassing both ‘canonical’ and ‘marginal’ texts - A long, established course that has continually evolved with an excellent staff team of highly-skilled and enthusiastic lecturers who are experienced teachers and published researchers- Strong emphasis on the development of advanced literacy and communication skills- Students are taught by experienced, trained and practising journalists and also benefit from an exciting programme of guest lecturers from within the industry- Excellent work placement opportunities, developed in collaboration with local organisations, including the BBC. 為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students with the Chinese University / College Entrance Examination (Gaokao) combined with a successfully completed and a recognised foundation qualification or Gaokao (NCEE) with good results (500 out of 750 for most provinces) will be considered for admission to our undergraduate degree (courses requiring a UCAS tariff range of 96-112).
