Spend a semester in London and another in Paris as you study this vocationally and ethically focused master’s degree. You will gain a solid foundation in areas of law practiced in international and City law firms.
Why study International and European Business Law?
This innovative master’s degree covers EU law plus cutting edge contemporary legal trade issues in the post-Brexit world. It will provide you with a detailed understanding of the complexities of international trade and business law.

Our partnership with ICP, Paris provides you with a fantastic opportunity to study in Paris for one semester. Teaching is in English, but if you would like to develop or brush up your French language skills, St Mary's also offers French language short courses that can help prepare you for your semester in Paris.
The collaboration between ICP and St Mary’s offers you a wonderful opportunity for cross-cultural learning, increasing your understanding of the English, French and EU legal systems. Academics from both institutions will teach at the other sharing specialist knowledge of their own legal system and discipline areas.
Assessment methods
All assessments are designed to develop your employability skills. The programme will develop your in-depth legal knowledge and key skills of emotional intelligence, teamwork, inter-cultural practice and leadership. These will be evaluated through carefully crafted authentic assessments with significant opportunity for self-reflection.
Assessments take the form of individual and group work including reports, case studies, presentations, group projects and viva voce.
Career opportunities
An LLM degree will provide you with an excellent specialist academic qualification to start a legal or business career, or to undertake further study. Postgraduate degrees can help you stand out from the crowd showing advanced intellectual ability as well as in depth substantive knowledge and practical legal skills.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) A Bachelor's degree from a good quality university in China. Exact grade requirements will depend on the university studied at in China, and the St Mary's programme applied for. 2:1 equivalent - Chinese degree (%): 75-80, 2:2 equivalent - Chinese degree (%): 70-75. All of our postgraduate degrees require 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in any section.
