在這里學(xué)什么？ Our four-year degree programmes (including a foundation year) provide an alternative route to undergraduate study at university if you do not have the grades to access higher education in the traditional way.In the ?rst year of the four-year degree, students will focus speci?cally on communication (oral and written), critical thinking, research, independent study, and digital and employability skills.Students will study three core modules and three modules linked to Law.On successful completion of the foundation year, students will automatically progress on to the ?rst year of their chosen undergraduate programme.Law affects almost every area of our day-to-day lives and is the means by which governments effect change all over the world. This programme is perfect for students who are interested in law and in becoming a barrister or solicitor, as well those interested in careers in the private and public sector, commerce and government. This is a single subject qualifying law degree where students will study the core ‘foundations of legal knowledge’ required by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Bar Standards Board in order to pass the academic stage of training and progress on to the vocational stage. The ‘foundations of legal knowledge’ comprise Public Law, Criminal Law, Tort Law, Contract Law, Land Law, EU Law, and Equity and Trusts. You will develop the analytical and critical skills essential for formulating legal arguments and also have the opportunity to study a range of specialist subjects that are relevant to your career aspirations.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students who have completed the National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao ) with an average total score of 70%, will normally be accepted for undergraduate entry. All our undergraduate and foundation degree programmes require 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in any section.
