在這里學(xué)什么？ Nursing has always been one of our leading subject areas at Bucks thanks to our experienced lecturers and strong links to NHS trusts, charities and private organisations. But we never stop looking for new ways to inspire our students.You'll find the latest specialist facilities at our three campuses - from realistic manikin 'patients' to life-like simulated injuries that look incredibly realistic! Our purpose-built adult and child wards include real equipment just like hospital or community settings.You will learn the theory in class and hone your skills in our safe simulation on campus. The you'll go on placement at our partner organisations, gaining real life experience to put your new knowledge into context and apply what you've learned. Led by our supportive and specialist course team, our BSc (Hons) Nursing – Learning Disability degree will help equip you with the key knowledge and skills to prepare you for a rewarding career in this field.During the course you will be able to experience clinical practice through a range of learning placement opportunities across the health and social care sector whilst also completing NMC proficiencies.Remaining academic study is taught through generic and field specific lecturers, modules, seminars and simulation. This combination will enrich your learning across different fields of nursing (adult, child and mental health) as well as help develop your core knowledge in the Learning Disability Nursing field.Successful students will graduate at the end of the course with a NMC Registration and will be qualified to deliver a wide range of clinical and care skills, underpinned by contemporary evidence and the appropriate values and behaviours.
