Construction Engineering and Management (Online)
The Master of Science in Construction Engineering and Management (MSCM) degree is designed to provide a program of advanced study for candidates anticipating a managerial career in the construction industry. In addition to course delivery in a hybrid distance mode, flexibility is built into the program to provide an optimum educational experience for working students.
Curriculum
The 33 hour non-thesis MSCEM degree program is an interdisciplinary curriculum that includes 18 hours of construction engineering and management oriented courses and 15 hours of electives allowing a candidate’s program of study to reflect both individual interests and career goals.
The requirements for the MSCEM degree are as follows:
- A program of at least 33 credit hours of coursework, of which at least 18 credit hours must be CEM graduate coursework.
- At least 18 credit hours of coursework at the 600 level or higher.
- No more than 3 credits may be CEM 691 or CEM 791.
- Undergraduate courses (400 level and below) will not count toward graduation.
- Meeting or exceed prescribed academic standards.
- All rules and regulations of the graduate office, including elsewhere, apply to candidates for the degree of master of science in construction management.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Applicants who have completed the equivalent of a four-year bachelor's degree at a recognized institution in any other country must have an academic record equivalent to a 2.70 grade point average (A = 4.00) on their last two years of study for admission to a master's degree program. Other English Language Requirements accepted: 550 on the paper-based TOEFL; 213 on the computer-based TOEFL; 5.0 on the iTep Academic Plus Exam; C1 required on the Cambridge English Exam.
