COURSE OVERVIEW Mission at Winchester provides a unique opportunity to develop your theological and analytical skills, enhance your creativity and reflect on mission practice and history in a post-colonial context – thoroughly equipping you for contemporary mission.
Taught by widely recognised mission practitioners with a passion for academic and missional excellence, this course is ideal for those already engaged in the area of mission and ministry, as well as those seeking professional qualifications and personal development in this area.
Mission is a multi-linear and applied discipline, with profound reflections possible from all perspectives. The course will offer you the chance to pursue meaningful historical and theological reflection, help you understand both the content and theory of mission, missionaries and agency, and enable those who wish to innovate missionary forms for new, emerging and challenging contexts.
As a multifaceted subject, missiology draws from a range of other academic disciplines and has much to offer in return. As a broad access MA, this course intends to enrich theological study and reflection with extensive related experience of students seeking professional and theological development, whilst simultaneously equipping students who may seek to develop a lifetime of praxis-led research and reflection.
Careers
A Masters degree is increasingly seen as an essential qualification for senior educational positions. The programme develops skills and knowledge for significant professional development.
Graduates may find employment in Christian ministry, work with development agencies and mission agencies, ordination or chaplaincy.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students need a relevant four year Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution with an overall GPA of 2.75 out of 4.0 or 70%, depending on the subject area. For some subjects a GPA of 2.4 (60%) may be accepted.
