The Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance is the first step toward a rewarding career in the banking, investment or business world.
The Finance degree program covers everything from corporate finance and investments to global markets. Students learn how monetary value is created, calculated and maintained throughout the financial system. They also understand the importance of raising and using capital in order to add value to a business or corporation.
Finance faculty expose students to historical and contemporary case studies taken straight from financial news and invite guest speakers to share their experiences.
Students examine financial decision-making through a social justice lens and gain critical thinking skills they will need to contribute and thrive in an organization.
Major Requirements: The BBA in Finance requires 66-67 hours of major coursework.
General Education Requirements: All majors require 44 hours of general education that students complete over the course of four years, in addition to their major courses.
