在這里學(xué)什么？ The York Business School BSc (Hons) Financial and Investment Management programme has been designed to offer an in-depth knowledge of financial and investment principles combined with practical application and skills that ready you for work in the industry.In addition to delivering comprehensive theoretical and practical aspects of finance, economics and investment, this programme will provide you with a firm understanding of the interaction of finance, financial markets and investment analysis. You will gain an understanding of the foundations of corporate finance, quantitative analysis, investment portfolio management, economics, regulation and ethics as well as other critical areas.Special featuresAccreditation by the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) giving you a globally recognised qualification (Level 3 Certificate in Introduction to Investment) alongside your degree, plus optional additional CISI qualificationsOpportunity to complete the Investment Foundation program accredited by the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) and gain internationally recognised certificationProgramme of guest speakers and training consultantsField trips, real corporate projects and live market scenarios embedded in the programmeOpportunity to engage with a range of practising financial advisors, organisations, employers and entrepreneurs and take part in work-related experiences and internshipsOpportunity to compete in trading simulation competitions both within the University and on national/international scalesOpportunity to qualify as a Microsoft Office SpecialistAccess to a range of specialist resources including Financial Information Database (FAME), Bloomberg and Financial Times Interactive to support learning and researchOpportunity to gain a Bloomberg qualificationExcellent personal and academic support. You will be allocated an academic tutor to support you throughout the programmeYear in industryAll of our business students have the option of adding in a year in industry and / or a semester of studying abroad with one of our partners to their course. A year in industry gives students fantastic experience and is attractive to potential employers. This normally takes place after the second year of the course and extends the course duration by one year (15% of the standard tuition fee is chargeable). Study Abroad normally takes place for a semester of the second year of the course and doesn’t extend the course duration as credits achieved abroad count towards your degree.You don’t need to decide whether you would like to take either of these options until after you have started the course with us.
