Overview
Learn how to design, build and deploy apps for Android and iOS devices on this new top-up course. The course is informed by Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and User Experience Design (UXD). HCI and UXD research has impact wherever digital technologies are used at a personal level including education, domestic activity, exercise, and promoting secure on-line behaviours in users. You'll learn about and use Xcode, Swift, Android Studio, Cisco OS, Wireshark and Asterisk to build an interactive and dynamic mobile app.
Career ready
This course would set you up for a career as a programmer and/or developer with appropriate knowledge and skills in software information systems analysis and programming/development. Recent graduates are working as Software Developers/Engineers and Web/Mobile Developers at SAGE, Accenture and IBM.
