An early leader in distance education, our highly rated RN-to-B.S. completion program offers you exceptional learning experiences that will help you advance your career, explore new opportunities, and develop greater professional satisfaction. This program offers the flexibility of online distance education while expanding opportunities for New York State nurses. If you are a registered professional nurse, consider our RN-to-B.S. program.
What Will I Learn?
This program is specifically designed for students who have completed their associate’s degree or diploma in nursing and are licensed RNs. The curriculum builds on the experiences gained in the associate’s degree providing additional studies in the natural, biological, and behavioral sciences combined with professional studies.

The applied learning experiences in the RN-to-B.S. programs offer you exceptional opportunities to diversify your experience and gain skills necessary to advance your career. You can engage in new professional nursing roles in healthcare organizations, communities, and global study experiences. Course-based experiential learning is a hallmark of a high quality nursing education. Our clinical coordinator works with you to find appropriate experiences in your region.
The nursing programs at Plattsburgh prepare you for excellence in nursing practice and to be ready for health care today. All of our undergraduate programs lead to a Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing.
