Mission statement
The mission of the Fashion Merchandising and Design Program is to offer programs of study to develop professionals in apparel design, product development, production, and merchandising. Instruction, research, and service are combined to meet individual, family, and international community textile and apparel needs.
Fashion show
A program highlight is the annual Spring Fashion Show. Coordinated by the merchandising students and featuring over 100 designs created by the design students, this show is always a hit. Attracting industry professionals, professors, CSULB students, and guests, the show serves as a network for future career opportunities for students.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Generally, applicants will qualify for consideration for first-time freshman admission if they meet the following requirements: Have graduated from high school, have earned a Certificate of General Education Development (GED) or have passed the California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE). Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Paper-based 500; Internet-based (iBT) 61, IELTS 5.5 each sub-section, Pearson Test of English 43.
