The Post-Graduate Dual Certificate in Nursing Education/Nursing Administration is provided primarily with hybrid courses designed for nurses who already have a graduate degree in nursing in another concentration, such as nurse practitioner or Clinical Nurse Leader. This certificate consists of 33 credits taken over about two years. A maximum of 12 credits of equivalent coursework may be transferred into SVSU to be awarded the Post-Graduate Dual Certificate in Nursing Education/Nursing Administration.

NURS 652 - Teaching & Learning in Nursing Education 3 cr NURS 654 - Assessment, Technology, & Nurse Educator 3 cr NURS 656 - Nursing Curriculum Design & Evaluation 3 cr NURS 658 - Foundations of Nursing Administration 3 cr NURS 662 - Pathophysiology & Pharmacology for ANP 3 cr NURS 668 - Advanced Clinical Practice 3 cr NURS 760 - Nursing Informatics & Quality Improvement 3 cr NURS 766 - Health Assessment & Genomics for ANP 3 cr NURS 772 - Epidemiology & Population Health in ANP 3 cr
Additional 6 credits of electives approved by the Department of Nursing are required.
