Saginaw Valley State University offers a 2+2 degree program for international students that culminates in a bachelor’s degree from SVSU. After completion of a U.S. equivalent of an associate’s degree in their home country, international students will enter into a 2+2 agreement with SVSU to complete their last two years of study. Upon successful completion of this program, students will receive a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Elementary Teaching for International Students or Middle and Secondary Teaching for International Students. Students of this program will not receive teacher certification from the Michigan Department of Education.

為來自中國的學生設計 Applicants must currently be a junior or senior in high school (with or without college credits), or have graduated high school and have taken no college courses. We strongly recommend high school students take a rigorous college preparatory curriculum prior to enrolling at SVSU. The primary core includes: 4 years of English; 3 years of mathematics (through second year algebra); 3 years of natural sciences (at least two years of biology, chemistry, or physics); 3 years of social sciences; 2 years of the same foreign language. Minimum Language Requirements: Minimum GPA: 2.0; TOEFL- IBT: 61; IELTS: 5.5; PTE: 45.
