From the wonder of covalent bonds to the intricacy of DNA, chemistry touches every aspect of the life we live and the world we help to create. At SVSU, students study these bonds and relationships up close. Together, new students share the thrill of discovery as they explore the limitless realm of chemistry. Whether through assisting faculty with research or conducting their own, SVSU students not only conquer the classroom but discover the world beyond it. SVSU's Chemistry program prepares students for professional school, graduate study or direct entry into the workplace — basically, chemistry can take students anywhere they want to go.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Applicants must currently be a junior or senior in high school (with or without college credits), or have graduated high school and have taken no college courses. We strongly recommend high school students take a rigorous college preparatory curriculum prior to enrolling at SVSU. The primary core includes: 4 years of English; 3 years of mathematics (through second year algebra); 3 years of natural sciences (at least two years of biology, chemistry, or physics); 3 years of social sciences; 2 years of the same foreign language. Minimum Language Requirements: Minimum GPA: 2.0; TOEFL- IBT: 61; IELTS: 5.5; PTE: 45.
