Program Outcomes
At the end of the program, the graduate of an Allied Health program will be able to:
- Use scientific and safety principles in Radiography, Cytotechnology, Medical Laboratory Science, Physical Therapy, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Respiratory Care, Vascular Sonography and Cardiac Sonography as demonstrated by their successful completion of courses and the program and passing their respective certification examination.
- Communicate effectively with patients and function as a professional member of health care teams as shown by passing their clinical courses satisfactorily.
- Perform a full range of diagnostic procedures in Radiography, Medical Technology, Cytotechnology, Medical Laboratory Science, Physical Therapy, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Respiratory Care, Vascular Sonography and Cardiac Sonography as demonstrated by their satisfactory clinical evaluations.
- Utilize critical thinking skills in the performance of radiographic examinations/laboratory procedures / Physical Therapy as shown by their successful completion of the courses and program and passing the certification examinations in their specialty.
- Demonstrate humanistic and ethical behaviors consistent with that of contemporary health professionals as shown by their satisfactory clinical evaluations and inter-professional collaboration.
