A Bachelor of Science in engineering technology (BSET) from Wichita State will give you knowledge and practical skills in engineering and technology fundamentals, engineering principles, instrumentation, mathematics, science, and applied design. You’ll have access to top-notch labs and technology plus, applied learning and research opportunities on and off campus.
Curriculum
The BSET - mechatronics technology concentration brings together classroom and applied learning in mechanical, electrical and computer technologies. You’ll learn about robotics, automated manufacturing and packaging, aircraft, heating and cooling systems, renewable energy systems and more.
Applied Learning
Students in engineering technology programs are required to complete an applied learning or research experience to graduate from the programs. The requirement can be met by completing the four-course capstone design experience consisting of ENGT 201, ENGT 301, ENGT 401 and ENGT 402.
