A Bachelor of Science in engineering technology (BSET) from Wichita State will give you knowledge and practical skills in engineering and technology fundamentals, engineering principles, instrumentation, mathematics, science and applied design. You’ll have access to top-notch labs and technology plus, applied learning and research opportunities on and off campus.
Curriculum
The BSET - civil engineering technology concentration combines engineering technology core curriculum with courses in civil and environmental engineering.
The program will prepare you for high-paying, high-demand careers in the environmental, structural and renewable energy fields. You’ll also be well equipped to pursue an advanced engineering degree.
Applied Learning
Students in engineering technology programs are required to complete an applied learning or research experience to graduate from the programs. The requirement can be met by completing the four-course capstone design experience consisting of ENGT 201, ENGT 301, ENGT 401 and ENGT 402.
