Wichita State’s Bachelor of Arts in Education (BAED) - early childhood unified prepares qualified teachers of young children (birth – grade 3). The program combines classroom learning and real-world teaching experience in area schools. Program graduates are eligible to apply for two licenses: elementary teaching and early child unified.
Curriculum
The curriculum provides a balance of general and professional education, early childhood elementary education and comprehensive training in assessment and observation of children in real learning environments.
Students must be admitted into the teacher education program before they can start their core courses.
