UF's Equine Business Management Program combines equine science courses with traditional business administration classes.
Courses such as equine marketing and equine law, along with more "practical" education in barn and livestock management, disease prevention and selecting and operating farm machinery are offered.
Certifications in various equine-related areas such as thermal imaging, saddle fitting and equine massage therapy are offered nearly every semester.
Earning a bachelor's degree in Equine Business Management can lead to several career options, such as:
- Auction or show manager
- Equine pharmaceutical sales
- Farm/ranch business manager
- Equine tax specialist
- Equine insurance agent
- Breed association official
- Equine feed sales
- Equine association (ex. Equine Affair, United States Equestrian Federation, etc.)
Mission and goals of UF's Equine Business Management Program
The College of Sciences provides students with an understanding of the impact of science on their lives, skills and knowledge necessary in today's technological society, and preparation for their future lives and careers. It is the mission of The University of Findlay Equine Business Management Program to prepare students to become successful professionals in the equine industry. We strive to educate our students in current horse management and training techniques through our educational programs, experiential learning opportunities, events, and classes. It is the goal of The University of Findlay Equine Business Management program to utilize experiential learning opportunities to enable our graduates to find successful placement in their job fields.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Applicants must have high school grades (minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average) and class rank. English Language Requirements: TOEFL (iBT) score of at least 61, an IELTS score of at least 6.0, a Pearson Test of English (academic) of at least 50, or an International Test of English Proficiency (iTEP) of at least 3.5.
