University of Findlay education students not only benefit from classroom experience outside campus beginning in their first year, they are also paired with a UF education faculty member who mentors them throughout their classroom experiences. This faculty mentor is licensed and experienced in the student's area of study and even makes site visits to check-in with their student at the school. Our faculty is made up of experienced teachers, educational administrators and human resource developers.
Early Childhood Education
Children in the early childhood years (ages 3 through 8) are filled with curiosity, energy and a sense of wonder about the world around them. Students who earn an early childhood education degree from The University of Findlay receive multiple learning options with international and domestic students, and students with disabilities starting in their very first year. This unique fieldwork continues throughout the program. As an early childhood teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a very positive impact on every child you teach and help each child develop a love of learning. Young children need teachers who are dedicated, knowledgeable, lifelong learners, organized and positive in their approach. If this describes you, early childhood may be the right career choice for you. You may begin your licensure program at the University of Findlay as a high school graduate, as a transfer student from another institution of higher education, or you can enter the post-baccalaureate program if you have a bachelor’s degree in any major field of study.

為來自中國的學生設計 Applicants must have high school grades (minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average) and class rank. English Language Requirements: TOEFL (iBT) score of at least 61, an IELTS score of at least 6.0, a Pearson Test of English (academic) of at least 50, or an International Test of English Proficiency (iTEP) of at least 3.5.
