Students accepted into the Master of Arts in Cinema and Media Studies program undertake a challenging two -year curriculum that spans core knowledge in media history, theory, criticism, to develop research, writing, and media-making skills in preparation for careers in academia, the arts, or media-related professions. Students are encouraged to work one-on-one with an engaged, diverse faculty composed of active distinguished film scholars and historians, and prominent film, video, and digital media artists. In addition, students have the rare opportunity to combine coursework in both theory and practice, completing either a written or media production thesis, with resources including a digital media lab and a television studio.
The Master of Arts in Cinema and Media Studies requires 36 credits to complete the degree.
All students are required to complete the following courses:

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Students must have Baccalaureate degree. English language requirements: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Minimum required scores: 550 (Paper), 213 (Computer), or 79-80 (Internet). International English Language Testing System (IELTS): We will only accept the academic exam scores. Minimum required score: 6.5 (overall band).
