PHL 101 Introduction to Philosophy or
PHL 130 Introduction to Ethics
Four 200-level or above courses in Philosophy including at least one course at the 300 level or above. Of these four courses, one must be in the History of Philosophy (PHL 200-219, 300-319) and one in Philosophical Method (PHL 220-229, 320-329, 420).
POL 100 American Government and Politics or
POL 235 The American Political System
Four 200-level or above courses in political science including at least one course at the 300 level or above. These four courses must be chosen from at least two of the following areas: American politics (POL 220-239; POL 320-339), political theory (POL 200-219; POL 300-319), comparative government (POL 240-259; POL 340-359), international politics (POL 260-279, POL 360-379).
