在這里學(xué)什么？
The Medical Technology Program requires three years of coursework and two semesters/sessions of clinical training. The clinical training may be completed in hospital programs accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) or in hospitals approved for training by the New York State Department of Health. The CSI Medical Technology Program has been granted NAACLS accreditation and is continually negotiating more clinical training sites to provide even more choices for our students.
The skills acquired encompass a broad range of disciplines, which include hematology, clinical chemistry, molecular diagnostics, microbiology, serology, immunology, histology, and blood transfusion technology. Employment opportunities are available in laboratories of public, private, and voluntary hospitals; in industrial, pharmaceutical, and private clinical laboratories; and in physicians' offices.
The Medical Technology Program has an admissions process and will accept students for Fall semesters each year. Admission is competitive and based on clinical internship site availability. Eligibility depends upon academic record, application completion and letters of reference, along with a personal narrative. In addition, there is an interview for applicants as well, performed by the Medical Technology Program Admissions Committee.

為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Admission into a baccalaureate program is based on an examination of an applicant’s entire high school/secondary school academic record, which includes: academic units, grades/grade trends, and standardized test scores (SAT, ACT and NY State Regents). English language requirements: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): The minimum score for undergraduate admissions is 45 Internet-based; International English Language Testing System (IELTS): We will only accept the academic exam scores. The minimum required score: 5.0 (overall band).
