The joint major in Sociology and Anthropology offers several options: most of the 40-44 credit requirements may be met by courses in sociology or in anthropology, according to the student’s primary interest; courses from both disciplines may be mixed equally. The program prepares students for such areas as teaching sociology or anthropology, social work, urban planning, public health, management, and law. Selected sociology and anthropology courses will also be of particular interest to majors in Biology, Psychology, History, Economics, International Studies, Nursing, and Computer Science.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Admission into a baccalaureate program is based on an examination of an applicant’s entire high school/secondary school academic record, which includes: academic units, grades/grade trends, and standardized test scores (SAT, ACT and NY State Regents). English language requirements: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): The minimum score for undergraduate admissions is 45 Internet-based; International English Language Testing System (IELTS): We will only accept the academic exam scores. The minimum required score: 5.0 (overall band).
