Prepare to teach students with a diversity of learning needs by developing the skills and knowledge of a highly effective teacher. Our fully accredited certification programs place emphasis on differentiated instruction, curriculum modifications, positive behavior supports, collaboration, assistive technology, and literacy instruction.
Master of Arts in Teaching in Special Education & Elementary Education: This degree program is specifically designed for students who do not hold teacher licensure. This program leads to dual certification in Special Education and Elementary Education. 39 Credit Degree Program.
Master of Education in Special Education: This program is designed for graduate students who have several years’ teaching experience with students with disabilities and are interested in advanced study in special education. 33 Credit Degree Program.
Master of Education in Special Education with Certification in Special Education (Teacher of Students with Disabilities): This degree program is specifically designed for students who already hold a standard teaching certificate in a field other than special education and wish to obtain New Jersey certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities. 33 Credit Degree Program
Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Teacher of Students with Disabilities: This certificate program is specifically designed for students who already hold a standard teaching certificate in a field other than special education and wish to obtain New Jersey certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities. 24 Credit Degree Program

為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the United States or proof of equivalent preparation from a foreign college or university. Applicants should have a 2.75 cumulative average or a 3.0 in the major at the undergraduate level, although some programs may have a higher requirement. English Language requirement: A minimum score of 80 is recommended for the Internet Based TOEFL exam and a score of 7 or higher is recommended for the IELTS.
