Interact with blind and visually impaired children and adults to developing the skills needed to become a certified teacher. Our fully accredited programs focus on critical areas of Braille literacy, assistive technology, collaboration and teaming, and the specialized strategies that enable students to function independently in general education classrooms.
Our programs provide students with skills in the critical areas of Braille literacy, assistive technology, collaboration and teaming, and the specialized strategies that enable students who are blind/visually impaired to function independently in general education classrooms. Students interact with blind and visually impaired children and adults.
Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Special Education – Teacher of Students with Blindness or Visual Impairment: This program is designed to prepare individuals who hold a certificate of eligibility with advanced standing (CEAS) in a teaching area to obtain certification as a Teacher of Students with Blindness or Visual Impairment. 33 Credit Degree Program
Post Master’s Teacher of Students with Blindness or Visual Impairment Certification: This program is designed to prepare individuals who hold a certificate of eligibility with advanced standing (CEAS) in a teaching area to obtain certification as a teacher of students who are blind or visually impaired. 24 Credit Degree Program

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the United States or proof of equivalent preparation from a foreign college or university. Applicants should have a 2.75 cumulative average or a 3.0 in the major at the undergraduate level, although some programs may have a higher requirement. English Language requirement: A minimum score of 80 is recommended for the Internet Based TOEFL exam and a score of 7 or higher is recommended for the IELTS.
