Becoming a counselor
Earn your clinical mental health counseling (CMHC) degree and become a licensed mental health counselor. This master's program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). Here, you learn how to work with a variety of clients in substance abuse treatment centers, educational settings and community mental health agencies. No matter which path you choose, this CMHC program can help you achieve your goals.
As a student, working to become a clinical mental health counselor, you'll gain experience with mental health agencies through networking and internships. Through these agencies, you'll work with individuals, groups and families in therapy, and qualify to work in the wide-ranging field of counseling right after graduation. You’ll learn all of this from experts who have worked in the field as clinical mental health counselors.

為來自中國的學生設計 Students must have completed bachelor’s degree from an accredited or internationally listed university. Applicants with a minimum TOEFL score of 550 paper-based, 213 computer based or 80 internet-based, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5, a minimum Duolingo score of 61 or a minimum PTE Academic score of 55 will be considered.
