The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics provides students with a comprehensive education in the mathematical sciences. The quantitative curriculum prepares students to solve complex and real world problems and comprehend mathematical concepts.
There are two tracks for the BS in Mathematics
The Applied Mathematics track prepares students for positions in industries, government, and postgraduate education in applied mathematics, statistics, or any related field. The Pure Mathematics track prepares students for postgraduate education in pure mathematics.
Major Requirements (31 cr.)
All courses are 3 credit hours, unless otherwise designated.

English Language Requirements: Minimum TOEFL score of 71 or higher on the internet-based; TOEFL score 530 or higher paper-based exam; IELTS - 6.0 or higher; Pearson Test of English, Academic: 48 or higher; WAEC's Senior Secondary Certificate of Examinations (SSCE): A or B; Ordinary Level Certificate: A or B; Cambridge International O Levels: C or higher; (Test in Practical English Proficiency) "EIKEN": Pre-1 or higher.
