As an MIS professional you'll help determine the information technology goals of an organization and you'll be responsible for implementing the appropriate computer systems to meet these goals.
The Leighton School MIS program prepares you with the knowledge and technical skills to plan, coordinate, and direct computer-related activities in an organization.
What are your career choices in MIS?
Leighton School graduates work as IT managers and IT project managers in a variety of organizations, including large and small businesses, as well as, government and non-profit organizations.
What is the job outlook for MIS?
This is a growing area given the increased need for employees who understand the complexities of information technology and contribute to effective management of IT Systems. Employment for computer and information systems managers is projected to grow 18 percent from 2010 to 2020.
