The University of New Haven offers a master degree program in industrial engineering which seamlessly bridges theory with hands-on application that allows graduates to be not only productive, but leaders in their chosen industry.
As the only master's program in industrial engineering available at an accredited institution in the state of Connecticut, this unique experience at the University of New Haven prepares students for future advancement in systems optimization, quality assurance, manufacturing, engineering management, procurement, the efficient use of both human and technological resources, as well for management positions in operations, supply chain, and technology.
Program Outcomes
- Demonstrate competence in industrial statistics and use of advance tools.
- Use simulation as an advance tool for complex problems.
- Recognize system problems in manufacturing and service and contribute to their solutions.
- Manage quality assurance and control processes using advance tools.
- Perform probability and decision analysis using software and advance problem solving tools.
- Work with supply chains and customer-supplier relationships.
- Manage factory or service operations including cost analysis and control, scheduling, productivity and quality management.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or from a foreign institution that is recognized by its jurisdictional Ministry of Education for granting baccalaureate degrees. Generally, a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 (where A is 4.0), based on all undergraduate courses taken at an accredited college or university, is expected though consideration will be given to prior graduate study and to supplementary professional experience. English Language Requirements: The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination with a minimum score of 80 on the Internet-based test (IBT), The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.5 is also acceptable. The Pearson Test of English (PTE) with a minimum score of 53 is acceptable.
