The Master of Dispute Resolution and Master of Business Administration (MDR/MBA) degree program is a joint program between Graziadio Business School and the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution of the Caruso School of Law. Classes in dispute resolution are available on both the West Los Angeles and Malibu campuses.
Students in Pepperdine's MBA program can pursue a concentration or emphasis in dispute resolution as part of their MBA elective courses. Through this program, 12 - 14 units of dispute resolution classes will count towards the concentration or emphasis in dispute resolution requirement as MBA elective courses. Students interested in the Master's in Dispute Resolution (MDR) program can count these classes towards the MDR program, leaving 18 - 20 units to complete the MDR program. The MDR program is normally a 32 unit program. By participating in the emphasis or concentration MBA students can complete the MDR by completing the remaining 18 - 20 units.
Students currently pursuing a dispute resolution concentration as part of the 5 year BSM/MBA program are not eligible to count concentration courses towards a Master's in Dispute Resolution.
