You’ve always loved words-their power, versatility, and origins. You love how, when combined they carry the most powerful ideas and passions humankind has ever known. The English education major will prepare you to bring this passion to the classroom as a composition, literature, and speech teacher.
Integrated Technology
At DSU, you'll also have access to the latest technology in the classroom. And you'll complete a K–12 educational technology endorsement in addition to your teacher certification. This means you will not only know how to integrate technology into your classrooms, but you can teach computer classes at elementary, middle and high school levels.

English Language Requirements: TOEFL iBT: 79; TOEFL PBT: 550; IELTS: 6.5; PTE Academic: 53; SAT: Minimum sub-score of 500 on both Critical Reading and Writing; ACT: Minimum sub-score of 22 on the Writing/English; Completion of ELS Level 112.
