This unique program prepares those who do not have a bachelors in HPE to obtain a teaching license AND a master's degree. This is a practice track which is great for teacher assistants interested in obtaining licensure. Internship (student teaching) is required.
Related Experience: Competitive graduate assistantships are available for fulltime students; Field based experiences; Early field placement in schools; Practicum; Student teaching in schools.
Careers
Majority of the graduates will become fulltime health and physical education teachers or coaches in public/private schools: Elementary teacher; Middle school teacher; High school teacher; College physical activity instructor; District curriculum coordinator for health & physical education.
