The BPS includes 4 required courses (16 credits) that relate to traditional business subjects (Accounting for Professionals, Professional Supervision, Marketing for Professionals, and Financial Systems), and students in the program can take no more than 8 additional credits that are considered traditional business subjects as electives.
Professionals and professionalism have come to be the hallmarks of the modern middle class. The BPS in Professional Studies prepares students to operate in this milieu through a set of skills-based classes that cultivate the knowledge and abilities needed to succeed in the white-collar world.
The BPS in Professional Studies requires a total of 120 credits, at least 30 of which must be in the Liberal Arts, 40 taken at Old Westbury, and 45 at the upper-division level.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Admission to the College is based on students’ successful completion of secondary school and on their academic achievement. All evaluations conducted by WES or ECE are designed to equate the level of education in other countries to the level of education within the U.S. International freshman applicants must have an equivalent secondary school average of an 80 (US average) or above. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): A minimum score of 513 on the paper version or 183 on the computer, or 61 on the Internet version is required. A minimum composite score of 6.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). iTEP score: Score of 3.5, Step EIKEN test: Grade Pre-1.
