Lawrence Technological University’s Bachelor of Science in Embedded Software Engineering was designed in close consultation with automotive OEMs and first tier suppliers. LTU is the first university in the nation to offer a degree in embedded software engineering. Embedded software engineers design and maintain software systems in embedded controllers that work behind the scenes in complex machinery.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of software developers is projected to grow 22 percent into the next decade, much faster than the average for all occupations.
The Bachelor of Science in Embedded Software Engineering offers a strong core of mathematics, science, engineering, and design and emphasizes the development of analytic and problem-solving skills. Your studies will culminate with a senior capstone design project in which you will synthesize what you have learned in a project of your choosing.
