Our graduate music programs guide students to academic fulfillment through professional training and musicianship, while offering rigorous academics in a range of subjects.
Each of our music masters degrees nurtures students who wish to prepare for careers as professional performers, teachers, or church musicians. A music master’s program provides graduates with greater career opportunities, higher earnings prospects, and a breadth of knowledge that goes far deeper than any undergraduate program.
Each degree features a common core curriculum, equalling about 1/3 of the total hours, which encompasses the breadth of scope expected of any graduate degree in music: music theory, music history, and methods of research.
Conducting
Designed for students who seek a professional, performance-based career as a conductor.
Instrumental Performance
Created for students with exceptional skill in wind, string, or percussion who seek a career in professional performance.
Piano Performance & Pedagogy
Designed to prepare students for careers in piano instruction while also honing performance skills.
Vocal Performance & Pedagogy
Designed to prepare students for careers as both professional vocalists and music educators.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Students must hold an acceptable baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association, or have completed equivalent academic preparation as determined by appropriate campus authorities; be in good academic standing at the last college or university attended; have satisfied any one of the following: attained a GPA of at least 2.5 in an acceptable earned baccalaureate degree, or attained a GPA of at least 2.5 in the last 60 semester units (90 quarter units) attempted. English language requirements: TOEFL - Minimum of 80 iBT; IELTS - Minimum of 6.5 Band Score; PTE Academic - Minimum 53; Pearson's Test of English - 53.
