The rapidly changing and growing field of health care is creating an increased demand for qualified professionals to lead in myriad healthcare settings. Centered on APU's values-based education, Azusa Pacific’s Master of Science in Nursing in Healthcare Administration and Leadership program aims to develop compassionate, collaborative leaders dedicated to making a difference in health care.
Available fully online with some courses also available at three Southern California locations, this MSN program is designed for registered nurses with a bachelor’s degree in nursing who are looking to advance their career and move into healthcare management and leadership roles. Whether you choose to complete the program entirely online or take a few classes on campus, course scheduling is designed to support working professionals.
Program Highlights Students will:
Experience interdisciplinary education with students in the School of Nursing and the School of Business and Management. Take nursing core courses focused on the critical analysis of nursing and healthcare research and theory, bioethics, healthcare policy, and the integration of spirituality in health care. Take healthcare administration and leadership courses focused on leadership styles and theories, strategic planning, quality improvement and patient safety, change management, effective communication and conflict resolution skills, staffing challenges and constraints, financial management, and healthcare informatics. Fulfill educational requirements necessary to sit for the American Organization of Nurse Executives nursing leadership exam. Learn from experienced faculty-practitioners who provide opportunities for students to put course material into practice.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. A minimum cumulative 3.0 (on a 4-point scale) GPA is required on the posted baccalaureate degree for regular admission status. Candidates with a GPA of 2.5-2.99 may be considered for conditional admission status. International students should have obtained a TOEFL iBT sore 90 including scores of 22 in speaking, 22 in listening, 22 in reading, and 24 in writing and IELTS score 7.0.
