APU’s Leung School of Accounting offers a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in which students develop the competence and character needed to become professional accountants and globally trusted business advisors. Beginning coursework provides a solid business foundation, covering accounting principles, business law, international business, finance, economics, statistics, and marketing. Advanced coursework introduces an accounting major to financial accounting, auditing, and forensic and investigative accounting, alongside innovative courses in ethical accounting.
Careers for Accounting Major: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Tax Consultant, Government: IRS or FBI agent, forensic accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Trusted Business Advisor, Controller.
