The MSE degree is an interdisciplinary program with the primary objectives of offering the practicing engineer the opportunity to develop a wide range of knowledge and skills needed to function in today's complex industrial environment.
The program is designed to provide flexibility for students who need coursework that is interdisciplinary and not available through the other engineering programs in the college. The MSE program typically includes courses from at least three different programs in the College of Engineering and may also use courses in the College of Science or the College of Business.
Program Learning Outcomes
Students completing the Master of Science General Engineering Program will be able to:
Work individually or collaboratively to plan and develop deliverables to meet project specifications and requirements.
Apply advanced theory, engineering practice and analytical methods to solve engineering problems.
Create written documents and deliver oral presentations for a range of audiences.
Appraise ethical, social, economic, and environmental implications of engineering practice in local and global contexts.

為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized, accredited and approved institution from a foreign country, or the completion of a U.S. bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution. Hold a GPA of at least 2.5 (from the 0.0-4.0 U.S. grading scale) in the last degree completed, or a GPA of 2.5 in the last two years of full-time study. Good academic standing at the last institution attended. English Language Requirements: TOEFL: 550 (Paper Based), 213 (Computer Based); 80 (Internet Based); IELTS score 6.5; PTE: 53.
